These terms apply to the Enamel iPhone app, published by Nael Al Khalaf. Contact: support@getenamel.app.
By downloading or using the app, you accept these terms. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) also applies to your use of the app. The privacy policy explains how data is used.
What Enamel does
Enamel offers a guided scan of your smile, a 30-day whitening and smile-care plan composed from your answers, a daily routine log and a history of your readings. The scan is measured on your iPhone and places the appearance of your tooth shade on an internal index from 1 to 16, where 1 is lighter and 16 deeper.
This index is a position on an illustrative scale. It is not a calibrated professional shade guide or a professional color measurement. Results depend on your iPhone, your position and the room’s light. The app may refuse a scan whose conditions do not allow a consistent reading, and it only compares scans taken in comparable conditions. When the measurement method changes, earlier readings are kept but are not compared with the new series.
Cosmetic use only
Enamel is a cosmetic tracking and routine tool. It is not a medical device: the app does not assess the health of your teeth and does not replace a dentist’s advice. No whitening result, shade or date is promised.
Follow the instructions of the whitening products you use: they take precedence over the app’s plan. For pain, sensitivity that persists or any question about the health of your mouth, see a dentist.
Your device and age
The app requires an iPhone with iOS 26 or later. The guided scan uses the front camera and the screen as its light, in a dim room.
Enamel is for people aged 13 or older. If you are under 18, use the app with a parent’s or guardian’s permission; purchases then go through Apple’s Family Sharing and Ask to Buy, where enabled. Always follow the age limits and instructions of whitening products: many are for adults only.
Free features and Enamel Pro
The first guided scan and the preview of your plan are free. The plan itself, the daily routine, check-in scans and your reading history require an active Enamel Pro subscription, including a plan without a scan. Settings and Delete all my data remain available without a subscription.
Enamel Pro is offered as auto-renewable subscriptions sold by Apple through the App Store: an annual subscription, with a 3-day free trial when your Apple Account is eligible, and a weekly subscription without a trial. Prices are shown in the app before you confirm, as provided by the App Store for your country, and may vary by country. The amount billed, the period and the renewal terms are shown on the purchase screen and in Apple’s confirmation.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase or, with a free trial, when the trial ends. A subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, including a free trial. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends. Any unused portion of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
If you allow notifications, the app can remind you before a free trial ends. If a subscription price changes, Apple informs you according to its rules before it applies.
Managing, canceling and refunds
You manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple Account: in the iPhone’s Settings app (your name, then Subscriptions), or from Enamel’s Settings with Manage in the App Store. Canceling stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the period already paid. Deleting the app or using Delete all my data does not cancel a subscription.
Apple bills the subscription and handles refund requests, including under any legal right of withdrawal that applies to you, according to its own terms. Restore purchases, in the app, gives access back to a subscription bought with the same Apple Account.
When a subscription ends, the routine and new scans are no longer available; your data stays on your iPhone until you delete it, and subscribing again resumes tracking.
Your data
The privacy policy explains what the app keeps on your iPhone and the only information that leaves it: subscription information and anonymous usage statistics, which you can turn off. You can erase your Enamel data from your iPhone at any time with Delete all my data, in Settings.
Liability
Enamel is a cosmetic tracking and routine tool. It does not give dental advice and promises no whitening result, shade or date: the index is a position on an illustrative scale that depends on capture conditions.
We take care to provide the app as described, maintain it and fix reported problems. We are liable, under the conditions set by law, for damage caused by a failure to meet our obligations. You remain responsible for how you use whitening products, which should be used according to their instructions. We are not liable for an interruption caused by force majeure.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death, personal injury, gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Nor does anything in these terms limit your statutory rights as a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services where it applies.
